It's really up to you, American tends to have more players though. However, if you are from asia you will probably end up playing in international anyway, in which case it doesent matter.

Please ignore that ^ person.
He thinks America has more players cause thats where he plays and his opinion is based on HIS playtime. And if your from Asia you dont end up playing in International, its again his perception of the game since he sees all the bots and players in ID1 most from some Asian country since they all have the asian symbols in their names. Now to answer your question. Check the times that you normally play and think about what times other timezones have most players at that time, 8pm ( at the timezone you are wanting to check) is a good idea. So if you play when its 8pm in europe try europe first, if you find there arent that many people, try america at 8pm america , otherwise asiaat 8 pm asia, you get the idea. About the lag your suffering im getting it too and im in europe ( netherlands) and i have played on american server since before day 1, the moment the lag has started for me was when they introduced the new update, with the dot thats shows server/ping/fps which was also near when wintersday started in GW. Currently im blaming it on the wintersday and lots of people being on, when the winter goes away i will see hope to see it gone, otherwise it seems like something is buggy with the update :| |
